I'm happy to post this update today on my blog. The US Forest Service has issued a Withdraw Notice to Impound Salt River Horses! This is great news to all those supporters who have worked so diligently to allow these wild horses to remain in their natural element along the Salt River within the Tonto National Forest. It allows so many of us local residents and those that travel from around the state to view and appreciate the beauty of these magnificent wild horses. We are grateful to the US Forest Service for their change of heart.
